Features of Renogy 12V 200Ah Hybrid Gel are somewhere between Renogy AGM and Renogy Pure Gel batteries.
Renogy Pure Gel battery is an excellent deep cycle battery, but it is a little bit sensitive to charging conditions (charging current and end charging voltages). Although Renogy Pure Gel can be found at certain online stores, it is not listed anymore at the Renogy official site.
Renogy AGM battery is also able to provide 2000 Amps for 5 seconds and it features lower internal resistance than 'Hybrid Gel', making it a better option for more stressful environment/applications than Hybrid Gel battery.
Renogy RBT200GEL12-G1 Hybrid Gel Battery Discharge Charts
While constant current and constant power discharge charts for most deep cycle batteries start with periods of 5 or 10 minutes and end with 20h time period, constant current and constant power discharge charts for Renogy RBT200GEL12-G1 Hybrid Gel Battery start with the period of 1 hour and ends with the 120h (5 days) period.
If You are looking for a 12V 200Ah deep cycle battery with an intended discharge time of less than one hour, consider either Renogy 12V 200Ah AGM battery or check our BCI Group 4D, 6D, and 8D Batteries article.

Although Renogy Hybrid Gel battery recovers well from deep discharges, discharging it below 50% will decrease the number of charging/discharging cycles.
If the battery is going to be used down to 'almost' 100% DoD, try not to discharge it below 10.5 volts, preferably not below 10.8 volts.
How to Charge Renogy RBT200GEL12-G1 Hybrid Gel Battery
Renogy RBT200GEL12-G1 Hybrid Gel Battery may be recharged using mains power, power generator, solar panels, wind turbines, etc.
Since the battery features a maximum initial charging current of 40 Amps with the maximum charging current of 60 Amps, personally, 30 Amps intelligent AGM/Gel-Cell battery charger (or charge controller) will do the job just fine.
Intelligent AGM/Gel-Cell battery chargers feature several charging modes, they support the charging of wet/flooded, AGM and Gel-Cell batteries (sometimes even the lithium-ion batteries), they analyze the battery first and adjust the charging process to the condition of the battery.
If the Renogy RBT200GEL12-G1 Hybrid Gel battery is discharged down to 50% DoD, 30 Amps battery charger may recharge it for slightly less than 4 hours, after which it may enter maintenance mode and maintain the battery fully charged for longer period of time.
Renogy RBT200GEL12-G1 Hybrid Gel Battery as a Trolling Motor Battery
Since most electric trolling motors feature maximum current in the 30-60 Amps range, Renogy 12V 200 Ah Hybrid Gel battery is well suited for this role.
According to the official constant current discharge chart, the Renogy RBT200GEL12-G1 battery is able to provide 50 Amps for three hours and keep the battery voltage very near 10.5 volts.
Since the trolling motors are rarely pushed to their limit constantly, the runtime can be probably much longer.
For example, if the current is kept at ~30 Amps, operating time on the single battery charge is at least 5 hours, with some energy left in the battery for safety reasons.
When the Renogy 12V 200 Ah Hybrid Gel is used as an electric trolling motor battery on smaller boats and especially kayaks, don't forget that it weighs 127.9 lbs (~58 kg) and should be positioned as low as possible in the boat.
Long Story Short: The Renogy RBT200GEL12-G1 Hybrid Gel battery is an excellent, spill-proof, deep cycle battery that requires minimum maintenance - just check if there is any corrosion on the battery's terminals.
Renogy 12V 200 Ah Hybrid Gel battery may be used as a trolling motor battery, a large sump pump battery, an RV house battery, an inverter battery, and for all other applications where the battery of this size, power, and capacity is required.
